Wang Shuzhou

History is forever a frame of reference for today. The Chinese village in the 1970s captured by Wang Shuzhou's camera is so remote from us, yet we will not forget it. A China that reforms itself and opens itself to the outside world starts from then.

Artist's Bio

Wang Shuzhou (b. 1951, Huixian, Henan Province, China) 

Wang is currently a member of the China Photographers Association, a member of the Chinese Art Photography Society, the Vice President of the Henan Art Photography Society, a researcher in the Huixian Cultural Center, and the Chairman of the Hui County Photographers Association.  

1987 Graduated from the Lu Xun Academy of Fine Arts
