It took Ou Zhihang eight years to finish the series "See and Be Seen." It seems kind of random and ridiculous that this group of work attracted so much attention in 2008, a special period of time for China. However, after contemplating the matter, the randomness becomes inevitable. It's a concentrated release in the form of culture after the inner and outer forces interact with each other with the great amount of energy pressurized within Chinese society. In the process of this release, we can directly and clearly see the rapid changes in China from the landscapes in "Ou Style Pushup". Moreover, the almost insane amount of attention and interplay between various media have pushed this work far beyond artistic documentation and into a historical and visual evidence of this period of time.
